Anne made me feel as if I was one of the family from day 1.  Over the years Anne has always been there for both myself and my children.  She really has been another Mum to me rather than a mother-in-law.  I’ll miss talking to Anne about so many things, including the Last Night of the Proms and baking. Anne had been encouraging me to join Mother’s Union for a while and now I am a central member and the administrator for the Leicester Diocese.  I don’t think I would have applied for the job without Anne telling me about the charity and taking me to a meeting.
 
The love for her family was so evident.I have been looking back through family photos and most of the photos I have of Anne have her with family surrounding her.
 
I am so blessed to have a mother in law as lovely as Anne and my children are blessed to have such a wonderful Grandma.
 
Anne you will be missed so much. Thank you for always being there. Lilly hopes you are with my Mum chatting and eating cake.
